Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance or away from business premises within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example by letter or email:

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but its use is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, I will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which I receive your withdrawal statement. As a rule, the same means of payment that you used for the original payment will be used for reimbursement; you will not incur any fees as a result.

Performance beginning before the withdrawal period expires

If you expressly requested that the agreed service begin during the withdrawal period, in the event of withdrawal you must pay a reasonable amount for the portion of the services already provided up to the time of withdrawal. This amount is measured against the total scope agreed in the contract.

For a paid service, the right of withdrawal expires upon complete performance only if, before performance began, you expressly agreed that performance could begin before the withdrawal period expired and at the same time confirmed that you understood that your right of withdrawal would expire once the contract had been fully performed.

Information about contract processing

This website enables only a no-obligation inquiry. A paid contract is concluded only through a separate individual agreement. For a distance contract, I provide confirmation of the contract on a durable medium within a reasonable period after the contract is concluded and no later than before performance of the service begins—usually by email or PDF. It contains the required consumer information unless this information was already provided on a durable medium before the contract was concluded. Section 312f(2) BGB (German Civil Code) applies.
